COUNCIL UNDER FIRE OVER BURST PIPES IN MITCHELSTOWN
Two residents in Liam Lynch Park, Mitchelstown have this week expressed their serious concern regarding a burst pipe, which has, they claim, been leaking water since Wednesday, January 18.
Next door neighbours Michael Keane and Patrick O’Mahony contacted Cork County Council who sent out a representative on Thursday of last week, but say they have heard nothing since. Significant water damage can be seen near ......... .
“The leak started last Wednesday and is after ruining my shed and is destroying Patrick’s tarmac,” Michael Keane told The Avondhu.
“The main supply is damaged and the pipes should have been replaced long ago as they are lead pipes that have been there since 1949.”
