FIVE YEAR OLD SERIOUSLY INJURED IN MITCHELSTOWN
A five year old boy is in Cork University Hospital having suffered what has been described as 'serious injuries' after he was struck by a car in Mitchelstown. The accident happened in the Kildrum area at approximately 12.30pm on this Wednesday, August 13.
While the scene has been examined by the Garda Forensic Collision Investigation Team and one witness has already assisted with the enquiry, any other witnesses who may have information on the collision are asked to call the gardai.
Traffic diversions were briefly put in place at the scene.
