JOHN UNVEILS HIS LIFE-SAVING RESCUEPOD
Last Friday night saw local businessman turned inventor, John O’Brien, make his Late Late Show debut when he showcased a new invention of his, the fire escape RescuePod, to the nation. John, who hails from Kilbehenny, now lives in Kilworth and has been working on his new invention since mid 2010. He has put the bones of 4,000 hours of design into it.
The owner of the salad supply company, A Taste Of Summer, which operates from the Coolnanave Industrial Park in Mitchelstown, he was quick to assure us that while the RescuePod idea is an exciting venture for him, his priority has to be ‘the bread and butter issue’ - that is, to continue to service his loyal customer base with his range of salads.
