MAN ASSAULTED IN GLANWORTH BURGLARY
An aggravated burglary took place in the village of Glanworth on Sunday night last at around 2am. Three men forced entry into the home of a young couple and physically assaulted the male in the house.
Nothing was taken from the premises, but the victim sustained ‘non-serious bodily injuries’, according to a Fermoy garda spokesperson. The case is currently under investigation.
