MEETING FAILS TO RESOLVE LEISURE CENTRE ISSUE
The queue of cars forming at the roundabout as people tried to get into the public meeting in The Firgrove Hotel on Monday night last was testament to how important the issue of the leisure centre is to the people of the town.
The meeting saw more than 150 people in attendance and it went on from 8pm until 11.15pm before the Limerick-based chairman, Donal Fitzgibbon, ended the meeting, having decided that nothing more could be achieved from the night.
