MITCHELSTOWN MEETING ON NEW SPORTS AND LEISURE CENTRE PROPOSAL
An open meeting regarding a proposed multifaceted sports and leisure centre development for Mitchelstown attracted an attendance of around 60 people to The Firgrove Hotel on Thursday last, March 1.
Those in attendance learned that the development is to be located on the Glanworth - Ballindangan road, as community activist, Tony Lewis, backed by John Brooks, advocated the benefits of the ‘new site’.
