MITCHELSTOWN MOVES A STEP CLOSER TO SPORTS AND LEISURE COMPLEX
Mitchelstown seems to have moved a step closer to an integrated sports and leisure complex as negotiations on the acquisition of a greenfield site for such a development were described this week as ‘entering the final moments’.
Tony Lewis of the Mitchelstown Forum Group told The Avondhu, “I am very hopeful of good news on this most exciting project. The sites under consideration are well placed and more than adequate to cater for all the sports and leisure requirements of Mitchelstown.”
Given that everything stays on track over the coming days, Mitchelstown Forum has organised an open public meeting for the Firgrove Hotel on Thursday night next, March 1 at 8pm to which everyone is welcome.
