NED TO LEARN EURO FATE THIS WEEKEND
Local TD Ned O’Keeffe will find out this weekend if he has been chosen as Fianna Fail’s candidate for the European elections in June as the party holds its selection convention this Saturday at 3pm.
Three candidates have been nominated to contest the Ireland South Euro constituency, and they will learn their fate at the South convention which will take place in the Silversprings Hotel, Cork.
Deputy O’Keeffe will face competition from Brian Crowley MEP and Senator John Hanafin who have also been nominated to contest the convention.
Every Fianna Fail cumann in the relevant European South constituency is entitled to one vote at the convention.
