SHOCK AND SADNESS AT PADDY O’KEEFFE’S DEMISE
People in the general Avondhu area were saddened to learn of the sudden death of Paddy O’Keeffe at his home in Grange, Killavullen on Sunday evening.
In his 90th year, he was a former editor of the Irish Farmers Journal and the Irish Field and has been described by many as ‘a pioneer’, ‘an innovator’ and ‘a mentor’.
He has been the subject of many tributes and a service was held at Corrin Event Centre, Fermoy on Wednesday. It was Mr O’Keeffe’s wish that his body be donated to science.
