THE TITANIC AND THE KILDORRERY LINK!
Since its collision with an iceberg at 11.40pm on Sunday, April 14, 1912, the story of the Titanic has been told over and over, reconstructed in films, the subject of numerous documentaries, books and so on. Its sinking has enthralled people’s imagination for 100 years now.
The ship was built in Belfast over a two year period, by about 3,000 workers, (2 of which lost their lives in its construction), at a cost of over $7,000,000.
