TWO DIRECTORS OF MITCHELSTOWN CREDIT UNION ASKED TO STEP DOWN
Following a special meeting attended by the Financial Regulator in Mitchelstown on Tuesday evening, two senior directors were asked to step down from their positions ‘in the best interest of Mitchelstown Credit Union’.
It is common knowledge that there have been divisions within the board for a number of years now and an observer close to the situation said certain factions within the board need to be removed ‘to make way for a more united and more focused approach’.
It is understood that three officers from the Financial Regulator’s office attended the meeting in The Firgrove Hotel along with four of the executive from the credit union.
