Two Mitchelstown residents cycling 550km across France in fundraising project
Two Mitchelstown women are part of a 40-person team that will undertake a 550km cycle in France this month, to raise much-needed funds for Children’s Medical and Research Foundation in association with Our Lady’s Children's Hospital, Crumlin.
Eileen O’Sullivan and Pauline Hannon have each raised over €3,500 as part of their fundraising initiative, which will see them cycle from Lyon to Nice between September 27th to October 3rd.
As part of her fundraising, Ms O’Sullivan is auctioning off a new, signed jersey of one of this year's All-Ireland hurling finalists, Tipperary – available to the highest bidder.
Earlier in the year she successfully auctioned a Cork and Limerick jersey. If you are interested in supporting the Children’s Medical and Research Foundation and would like to bid for the signed jersey, you can contact Eileen on 086-3180962.
