The Other Side Of Sleep. (This is a special presentation with the director, Rebeca Daly, a native of Naas, in attendance.This Film has been shown at the Cannes, Toronto, Galway and many other film festivals. It was also nominated for 4 IFTA's at the 2012 Irish Film and Television Awards. We are very grateful to Rebecca for taking time out of her busy schedule to introduce her film to us.

Arlene’s life goes by peacefully and on her own, working at a factory in a small town in the heart of rural Ireland. But hidden behind this apparently insipid existence is a trauma: when Arlene was just a baby, her mother was brutally murdered and since then, the girl has developed chronic insomnia that causes her to wake up at night in the middle of nowhere. When another woman dies in circumstances that are very similar to the way her mother died, all of Arlene’s ghosts will resurface again.
