The first signs of pregnancy. How do you know you're in it before you miss your period? Are you trying to have a baby and are you too impatient to wait for the change in your condition to show up in your urine? Feel your body. This starts to change shortly after fertilization and can inform about the ongoing pregnancy before the home test. The problem is that most pregnancy symptoms are the same as premenstrual symptoms, so a woman often does not pay special attention to them. Although pregnancy can be detected by a home test, not every woman is patient enough to wait until she has missed regular periods when the pregnancy hormone first appears in the urine. Before that, therefore, he looks for the first signs of pregnancy on his body. And that often really tells her. However, the symptoms of pregnancy in the first days may be unclear, most of which are identical to those that precede approaching menstruation. Likewise, the onset of pregnancy can occur without symptoms . Symptoms of pregnancy homepage When do the first symptoms of pregnancy appear? Usually around the 14th day after fertilization , ie just before the expected menstruation . That is why they are very regularly mistaken for premenstrual syndrome. What are the symptoms? In most cases, it is the breasts that make themselves known first. Expectant mothers most often describe special tension, tingling or increased sensitivity of the nipples. Some women have breasts that are painful to the touch. Behind these feelings are the hormones progesterone and hCG , which begin to form in the body immediately after the embryo is nested in the uterine wall. Both of these hormones are designed to increase blood volume, causing the breasts to enlarge and become heavier than usual. Abdominal pain and cramps Early abdominal pain is also an early symptom of pregnancy . Some women have similar lower abdominal sensations at the beginning of pregnancy as before menstruation. However, these cramps do not indicate the peeling and leaving of the uterine lining, but the preparation of the uterus for the massive growth that awaits it in the next nine months. Fatigue Fatigue can occur as early as the 14th day after fertilization of the egg. And no wonder. After all, a new life begins to grow in a woman's body, and a large amount of energy is needed for that . From the beginning of pregnancy, depletion may be due to rapidly rising progesterone levels. The feeling of exhaustion usually subsides with the beginning of the second trimester. However, it reappears at the end of pregnancy, when it makes itself known due to increasing volume and discomfort during sleep. Spotting Some women have so-called implantable bleeding, about the 11th to 12th day after fertilization . This bleeding is very light and takes the form of spotting that lasts one to two days. And why does it happen? It is usually caused by the nesting of a fertilized egg in a heavily perfused uterus. So it is a completely natural process, because future mothers do not have to worry. They should see a doctor if bleeding occurs during pregnancy, especially if it is accompanied by pain. Nausea Nausea, which in some cases is accompanied by vomiting, haunts a large proportion of pregnant women. Although the first signs of nausea usually appear about a month after fertilization , in some cases they may appear a little earlier. And although in the case of pregnancy, nausea is mainly associated with the word morning, paradoxically, a woman can feel it at any time during the day . It is often associated with a feeling of hunger, with food the unpleasant feeling often subsides. And how long does this symptom of pregnancy last? Usually by the end of the first trimester. Sensitive nose Does a scent that used to be pleasant suddenly make you sick? This is quite common during pregnancy. The reason is the rapidly rising level of estrogen and also the increasing volume of blood in the body. Mucus change Attentive women can also observe a change in the mucus that is secreted from the cervix. It is more than usual at the beginning of pregnancy. In addition, it is thin and slippery at a very early stage . It then gradually thickens under the action of progesterone. The mucus should be light in color, but brownish discharge may also occur. Frequent urination Did you think that more frequent urination during pregnancy is caused only by the dilating uterus, which presses on the bladder? No way. The frequency of toilet visits increases in the first weeks of pregnancy. This is due to rising levels of the hormone hCG . Other pregnancy symptoms Other unclear symptoms of pregnancy that may occur before menstruation are: Flatulence Constipation or diarrhea Metallic taste in the mouth Excess saliva or dry mouth Bleeding gums Insomnia Vivid dreams Back pain Symptoms of ectopic pregnancy It may happen that the fertilized egg does not reach the uterus and settles elsewhere, most often in one of the fallopian tubes. This creates an ectopic pregnancy, a condition that must be treated surgically as quickly as possible. Because in addition to the fact that it is not possible to deliver the fetus, the woman is also directly endangered in life. If the badly nested embryo were not removed, the fallopian tube would rupture and the woman could bleed. The tricky thing in this case is that the ectopic pregnancy is known to the doctor . All manifestations are the same as in classical pregnancy. The woman feels tension in her chest, fatigue, menstruation is skipped and the result is also a positive test . Symptoms of a silent pregnancy As the name suggests, a silent pregnancy is one during which the fetus in the womb stops developing and dies . The woman does not feel any difficulties. Doctors place this condition in the group of spontaneous abortions. Unlike them, in this case the body cannot get rid of the dead fetus on its own. He does not know that it is no longer evolving. Women who experienced a silent pregnancy thus had absolutely no signs of any problems in the form of bleeding or abdominal pain. On the contrary, they continued to experience common pregnancy, such as nausea or chest pain. The problem is usually discovered by a doctor at a routine check-up. The good news, however, is that a silent pregnancy will never affect most women. About one percent of them will experience it .
