The Moscow State Opera make a highly anticipated return to the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre having been very well received with their production of CARMEN in March 2013. A new production under the guidance of Russia’s leading Artistic Director, George Isaakyan, the soloists and chorus will be accompanied by the orchestra of The Moscow State Opera conducted by Russia’s most famous female conductor ALEVTINA LOFFE.
Ireland’s best-known international soprano CELINE BYRNE, and star soloist from the Bolshoi Opera ANNA NECHAEVA, will perform the lead role of CIO-CIO SAN. Celine will take lead duties on Wednesday 22, Friday 24 and Sunday 26 April while Anna will perform on Thursday 23 and Saturday 25 April 2015.
