Alcoholics Anonymous is holding its 55th annual convention at the Green Isle Hotel, Naas Road, this coming weekend 20th, 21st and 22nd April, 2012. This important event rotates around the provinces annually and has not been held in Dublin since 1992. We expect upwards of 1,000 delegates and visitors to attend. The convention will be officially opened at 8.00 pm on Friday evening. Members of the public and interested parties are welcome at open meetings. Closed meeting are for members of AA only. Alcoholics Anonymous has been in Ireland since 1946, quietly helping to save many thousands of lives and to restore the happiness of many thousands of families.
