The Lambay Singers are a community choir based in Donabate/Portrane, Co. Dublin, which was formed under the directorship of Cliona Ardiff in September, 1998.
Initially the choir began as an all-female group. None of the singers had sung in a choral setting before and certainly no one could read music but everyone had bucketloads of goodwill and enthusiasm and a real desire to turn The Lambay Singers into a worthwhile choir.
