This is an exciting chance to see this fantastically talented tribute to Rory Gallagher, in this, the 20th anniversary year of Rory’s sad death. The Irish tour is with the original Sinnerboy line up of Barry Barnes on vocals and lead guitar, Dave Burns on bass guitar and Steve Richardson on drums, an awesome threesome!
Excited to be together again, Barry and the boys will be playing Rory’s music with skill, passion and pure unadulterated love of the music of Rory Gallagher! The tour takes in Kilkenny, Cork, Dublin, Clonmel, Limerick and Galway.
In a recent interview with Cerys Matthews on BBC Radio 6, it was wonderful to hear Rory’s brother Donal praising the work of the tributes to Rory, in helping to ensure that his music is never forgotten.
Anyone who has seen Sinnerboy play in Ireland knows how passionate they are about Rory’s music. Playing Ballyshannon each year since 2003, they wow the crowds and have a faithful following there, and they love nothing more than playing Rory’s music in his homeland.
