The Wearing of The Green Ballad Festival is a celebration by the people of Limerick of the Centenary of 1916 through ballads and songs of our past. A fantastic night of pride and celebration featuring Derek Warfield & The Young Wolfe Tones famous for "On The One Road", "A Nation once Again", "The Boys of the Old Brigade", also featuring The Dublin City Ramblers with their many hits such as "The Ferryman" and "Dublin in the Rare Old Times" also joining the festival with be the lively Rebel Hearts performing their rousing versions of rebel songs. Also featuring Limerick's own Parcel of Rogues, hugely popular ballad band throughout Limerick and county. Full bar and food stalls on site. Limited seating.
